One year ago, I made the journey of a lifetime. Thankfully, I have had a lot of opportunities to explore and capture some of my new surroundings. Below are some of my favorite images from said surroundings.

Say hello to my friend Nyla. I had the privilege of meeting her during my first trip to California and instantly knew she had soul. Nyla is currently making her way through the local LA music scene, so I decided to help her out and provide a few promotional images for her to use.

Today marks the one year anniversary of Eric and Melissa Peyton’s wedding day! This wedding was HOT…both literally and figuratively. The temperature that day exceeded 100 degrees which caused us to implement a “run outside for 10 minutes and get whatever photos we needed before everyone melted” style of photography…it was awesome!

Happy one year anniversary  to Andrew and Nicole York! This couple reminds me of what makes Southern Indiana so special…it’s full of good people. From the “down home” rehearsal dinner to the beautiful church their ceremony was held in, it was a privilege to be able to capture this moment in their lives.

Happy one year anniversary to my friends Casey and John Pedigo! If you could imagine the perfect summer wedding…this would be it. An outdoor ceremony, a reception under the stars and a canoe full of various beverages. 

Meet the Carrolls. They are great. I’ve known them for almost five years now and it’s been awesome to see their little family grow. On a recent trip back to Indiana, I had the privilege of spending some time with them and updating their family portraits.

Say hello to the Kolarciks. I met them within the first couple of months of being here in sunny California and have become really good friends with them. They are a super artistic family (see links below) that loves Disneyland…so what’s not to like? 

One year ago, today, I had the privilege of capturing my friends Kyle and Melissa Wilson’s wedding. To say that these two people are awesome (minus Kyle being a U.K. fan) is an understatement…just check out Kyle’s customized wedding shoes!

Yesterday my friends and I ventured out to what is known as Vasquez Rocks Natural Park (Vazquez Rocks for short). Not to bore you with geological/pop culture information, but according to a very reliable source (Wikipedia) these rocks are caused by the San Andreas Fault and have been featured on various T.V. shows…

Recently I had the privilege of having some of my friends help me out with a couple of ideas I had running through my brain. My goal was to try new things while shooting and also during the post processing…process (thanks photoshop).
