One year ago, I made the journey of a lifetime. Thankfully, I have had a lot of opportunities to explore and capture some of my new surroundings. Below are some of my favorite images from said surroundings.

Say hello to my friend Nyla. I had the privilege of meeting her during my first trip to California and instantly knew she had soul. Nyla is currently making her way through the local LA music scene, so I decided to help her out and provide a few promotional images for her to use.

A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to capture a really cool conference that equips parents with fresh ideas on how to prepare their children to live for Jesus. The Legacy Conference was held at Shepherd of the Hills in Northridge, CA and was hosted by the children and student ministry departments.

Fact: I love to go on adventures. Just me, my camera and an iPod full of music. That’s all I need. Recently I had some opportunities to go adventuring to some old and a lot of new[ish] surroundings. Recently I had the privilege of having some of my friends help me out with a couple of ideas I had running through my brain. My goal was to try new things while shooting and also during the post processing…process (thanks photoshop).
